This description is about the 6th planet, Saturn and I am going to talk to you about it.

Saturn is the second largest planet in our solar system. Its temperature is -140 degrees! Its distance from the Sun is 1434 million kilometers WOW!!!! Saturn has 60 moons and Titan is the largest one. Its diameter is 120,500.

Saturn looks like a purplish ball of gas. Its rings looks like a big chunk of rock, but it’s actually made of millions or even billions of ice rock and dust floating around.

Every planet has a symbol and Saturn’s is like this
Saturn’s atmosphere is 96.3% poisonous and has giant winds so no astronauts entered Saturn.

I think Saturn is my favorite planet because it’s colorful gas and beautiful rings. Maybe one day I might travel to Saturn!

My new wiki page!

Bees gather sweet nectar from attractive beautiful flowers.
Bees live in groups in Giant beehives, every hive as millions and trillions of hardworking bees!!!!
The female royal queen fly high in the sky to mate and, lay thousands of cute little baby bees. She mates with drones, but when they mate the drones die!!! WAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!
The workers are female but don’t lay eggs. They search and grab food, defend the hive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In the old hive new queens wrestle for the hive until one is left!!! (The fight is really rough and tough and, only skilled queens should do it!!!)

A couple of billion years ago there was nothing, just stillness and blackness… Then an enormous BANG! And an eye popping flash of light. It shoved out all the darkness away and became the new born universe. The cooling rock and stuff became giant galaxies.

Then came the shining stars split into burning blue ones and the not so hot ones, and the yellow middle ones which is our Sun. It started out as a bulb in the middle of a giant cloud of dust. It became bigger and bigger and tighter and tighter. The leftovers became huge planets that clumped together. The ones near the sun were sizzling and the ones away were cold and icy but the third was special because it was perfect and it was our planet Earth.

A wild comet smashed against the Earth and made the moon. Earth was like a pot of sausages that got burnt. Then rain hit the oceans. Something special began to happen… the tiny things were the first life form!

Today we went to the Star dome. First we had morning tea. My morning tea was ‘Snax’ it was great! Next we plated on the play ground and flying fox. We had a super time there.

After that we watched a fantastic movie with a talking book, a boy, a girl and a cardboard space shuttle, inside the dome. Then a guy came and taught us about constellations that are stars that make a picture, like the Southern Cross.

Next we explored the area with comet pieces, info about nine planets and models of black holes, Saturn and a weighing machine.

Then we had an interesting education session that taught us about the Sun, its Solar flares, and magnetic fields, how far away Pluto is from the Sun and lots other things.

Finally we got on the bus and started a long trip back. Jett, Songyan and I played some games on the way back too.

I had to say that this is as exciting as doing a sky dive! I wish I could do it all over again!
