On the second week of the holiday I went to Ice Hockey for the whole week! In training while we were skating backwards… BOOM CLATTER SMACK I slipped!
Now it was time for the game, I played centre and once I got on… WHAM! And I was off like a jet!!! HORRAY! We won! Then we all had a break for 45 minutes. After that it was a public session and I was as speedy as a cheetah!
I zoomed around for the rest of the day. After that when I was in bed, my dad gave me an Ice Hockey book.

On Tuesday 9th March I went to the zoo. We had a discovery lesson with a zoo keeper in the Motuora Island room. At the zoo I learned that the male kiwi sits on the baby egg for 80 days! we saw the girrafe and we even got to feed it. the tiger was my favorite!!! Can't wait until our next school trip!!!!!! E.D

-They eat grass and low growing plants
-They are mammals
-Stripes confuse enemys
-Zebras have strong hooves, not feet
-They are white with black stripes not black with white stripes
-The queen does not work.
-Males are called drones.
-Worker bees are female.
-They do a dance to show where pollen is.
-The drones die as soon as they mate with a queen bee.
-Honey comb has the wax and the cells that bees make.
-You can eat honey comb as well as honey
